Armistice: The Long Road to Peace
Written by Lyon Devereux
Directed by Vivien Lesley Jones
At 9.30 in the morning on the 11th November 1918, mere hours before the end of the Great War, George Morrison was killed in action. And he is extremely unhappy about it.
As the minutes tick down towards the Armistice, people are still dying… A group of fallen solders gather together in a farflung, forgotten Flanders’ field to share their stories of the long, long road to peace.
As the final shots ring out, each soldier must ask himself; how did we get here? And more importantly, what happens next…?

Armistice: The Long Road to Peace ran at Clearwell Caves, Gloucestershire & The Albany Theatre Studio, Coventry in November 2018
